Caroline joined the STEPS team
in 2018! She grew up in Yakima, Washington before attending the University of Washington,
where she is currently pursuing her degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences.
Before joining STEPS, Caroline
gained experience through volunteering locally as a preschool assistant
teacher, internationally through VBS programs, and for the IDEA
Project- a non-profit organization which provides interactive disability
education in public schools. She also enjoyed serving as an intern at
JUMP Camp, an inclusive science camp for children with and without
disabilities, aiming to decrease challenging behaviors
while fostering appropriate social skills.
Caroline hopes to pursue a graduate degree in Speech Pathology in the future, and would one day love to be involved in international missions for those with disabilities! In her own time, she likes to play tennis, travel with family and friends, and loves anything involving music!
