Ingrid joined the STEPS team in 2019! She was born and raised in San Francisco, California before she attended the University of Puget Sound where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology.
Ingrid has been working with children in a variety of different settings since she was in middle school. Before joining STEPS, she volunteered with the Friendship Circle, a nonprofit that pairs teenagers and children with special needs to help them improve their social skills. She also tutored second through sixth grade students in school for over six years and volunteered at an after-school program where she supported a student with developmental delays. In 2018, Ingrid volunteered with the STEPS summer program where she became interested in the ABA field and solidified her passion for working with children with developmental differences.
Ingrid plans to pursue her graduate degree and become a BCBA. She loves to visit her family in Sweden, explore coffee shops, go to museums, and do anything involving the outdoors!
