Madeleine joined STEPS in July 2018. She grew up on Camano Island, WA and moved to the University District in 2015 to begin school. She has since graduated with her B.S. in Speech & Hearing sciences from the University of Washington.
Her experiences include working closely to those with various disabilities as an assistive technology associate through an early intervention program based out of Lake Stevens. She also worked with kids in the field due to her speech-language pathology internship with a children’s therapy clinic located in Bellevue. Through these experiences, Madeleine found her calling by working alongside children diagnosed with communication disorders and is constantly inspired by their energetic, passionate spirits.
Madeleine plans on pursuing her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and hopes to work as a SLP in the school district one day. In her free time, Madeleine enjoys traveling, reading, cooking (mostly eating), and exploring the PNW with her friends whenever she can.
