Behavior Technician
Born and raised in Seattle, Rebecca has spent a year practicing ABA as a behavioral educator with Basic Beginnings, additionally gaining experience working hands-on with high-risk families and children as shelter staff through Mary’s Place.
Her interest in neuropsychology blossomed when as a college freshman in 2017 she was involved in a motor vehicle accident and sustained a traumatic brain injury(TBI). Believing in the necessity of effective and thoughtful treatment, she is an active member of the BRITE research project with the University of Washington for TBI rehabilitation. She joined the STEPS team in 2021 to continue her work in the field of ABA and is currently working towards a Bachelor's degree in education from Seattle Central College.
In her free time, Rebecca enjoys reading poetry, playing the ukulele, and collecting jokes. Her favorite meal is salmon poké!
